I can't speak highly enough about this excellent team. My first contact with Nigel totally put me at ease; his knowledge and attention to checking details of a vehicle was amazing. Negotiations were fair and as a customer I felt the company go above and beyond the already excellent AA package. The car I purchased came with new mats and a cam belt/ water pump change.
I purchased as part exchange a warranty.
Roger was amazing in his approach and timings of delivery / collection of my old vehicle. The car was clean inside and out.
When a problem arose a month later the team responded immediately with Nigel and Nicci's guidance- Dave came and collected the vehicle to repair with a great courtesy car for the duration.
Nothing is too much bother for this team. Nicci and Charlie kept me well informed of Herbie's skilful identification of issues and time for repair.
A company that are true to their word about quality and great communication.
I have no hesitation in recommending them and will look to our next car change with their excellent range of stock.

After a week of ownership of my Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.2 HSE Luxury I will now leave a review. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. James came out and saw me and my wife when we visited last Saturday and simply said if you would like the keys to any vehicles, just let me know. I said yes and test drove a Range Rover Evoque and the Land Rover Discovery Sport. The Land Rover suited me best and I decided on that. I couldn't fault the service. It really was a pleasure doing business with them. James organised a full service, and a cam belt change (free, but would have probably cost about £1 - £2k at Land Rover!) before I picked the car up the following week. After a week of ownership I am a happy customer and certainly would not hesitate in recommending this company.

Straight away from the first phone call, Elm Tree has been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. First impressions was professional and friendly. I was transfered to James who was extremely helpful without making me fell pressured in to buying at all.
I spoke to him a couple times then decided to place a deposit on the car (As I was unable to view until the following weekend). I was told that this would secure the car but would be fully refunded if I did not wish to proceed for any reason. I find this way of doing business so much more relaxing than others I have dealt with.
I went to view the car on a Sunday morning, My Wife and I were welcomed with a freshly brewed cup of coffee and a friendly chat.
We were then handed the keys for a test drive, and was told to take as much time as we wanted. I really cannot emphasize enough how stress free this all was! The car was EXACTLY as described and upon returning from the test drive I knew this was the perfect car.
They put a new MOT on the car, even though there was a lot left on there already - the car passed with only 2 advisories - in which they proceeded to fix- New brakes and tyres even though they still have a few thousand miles left in them!
When I collected the car, it was just being valeted as we arrived. My Wife and I had another cup of coffee and a little chat with James before we took the car home.
ALL the staff at Elm Tree were extremely friendly and we felt they couldnt do enough for us.
All in all, this company is exactly what a good local business should be - Friendly, helpful, professional and above all, supplying an excellent product and service without any high pressure sales tactics.
If I could rate them higher I would! I will definately be using them for when I buy my next car!

From the very first contact with Nigel at this excellent dealership I was filled with confidence that I was in good hands. This was of the utmost importance as I was buying my car long distance from Brighton. The customer service was brilliant and they even arranged for me to be picked up from the nearest train station. Very pleased with the car and the after sales regarding a missing parcel shelf that hadn't been noticed at the time is in the process of being resolved. Highly recommended. I couldn't reccommend Elm Tree enough to anyone in the area needing help with their car. They literally saved my Christmas. Through my own lack of organisation I missed my MOT only to discover my error lass than a week before the big day. To cap it off my car was suffering an issue with the washer jets for which I knew it would fail, my Christmas travel plans were beginning to looking ropey to say the least. I rang Elm Tree first thing on Monday 20th December, by lunchtime on Tuesday 21st my car was not only fixed, but also MOT'd, they even gave it a quick clean in the process. Not all heros wear capes.

I purchased an Audi A4 estate from Elm Tree in August 2020. Since then I've driven 1,000 miles in the UK and we were fortunate enough to take a 2,000 mile round trip (around 40 hours of driving) down to the rolling valleys of the Dordogne region in France. We loaded up 110 bottles of wine (rather heavy!) for our now postponed wedding so I think it's fair to say the car has been well tested and it's been flawless throughout.

The service was also fantastic. Super friendly and helpful and absolutely no pressure on the sale. Given the unfortunate times with the pandemic, everything was well distanced and the test drive was a solo experience - which I must admit I think works very well. They also managed to acquire a parcel shelf for me!

Highly recommended and I'd certainly go back in the future.

I had decided to acquire a Range Rover for my birthday and was worried it wouldn't arrive on time. Not only did it arrive on time and on my birthday, the car was perfect! A1 Service. I recently brought a car from Elm Tree Motors and the service was faultless, they went above and beyond and most importantly were really nice people to deal with.
The car was priced very competitively and the condition of it on collection day was like new, having been serviced and MOT'd as well as cleaned to an incredibly high standard. There is not a mark on the car and it really feels younger than it is inside and out.
I dealt with Mark and James and they were both very likeable and a real pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and really knew their stuff and weren't pushy at all. When I dealt with any of the other staff they were also really nice and helpful and made you feel very comfortable.
Elm Tree Motors is a great garage and a real gem of a find I feel and I will certainly be looking to them for my next car as they made the whole buying process from start to finish not only easy but a real pleasure, and all at a great price. Best garage I have ever brought a car from by far.

Great choice of cars and even if James hasn't got what you are looking for he will try his hardest to find it for you! Never pushy and so relaxed making every purchase a pleasure! Wouldn't go anywhere else. Even the extended Warranties they offer are good covering a lot of components others wouldn't. My wife my stepdaughter and I are all driving Elm Tree Vehicles and James is in the process now of trying to find my Stepdaughter another car!
Workshop staff are very good too, Herbie the Workshop Foreman what he doesn't know really isn't worth knowing, the guy is a Genius!
