Mark

Owner

Mark has been a motor trader for thirty years. Mark enjoys meeting people and has a very broad sense of humour which is enjoyed by both staff and customers... or so he seems to think. Mark is a farmer and a pilot and enjoys a range of hobbies which include sailing and skiing.

Paula

Accounts

When she's not travelling you will find Paula busying herself in the background in the Accounts Department, she brings organisation to the Company. Paula enjoys a good walk with the dog and loves her skiing holidays. She has been Mark's partner for thirty years now... but we don't hold that against her.

James

Sales Manager

James has now been in the retail motor industry for twenty five years (five years less than Mark) and brings his own unique humour to the office, which combined with Mark's, all adds to your car purchase experience - seeing many customers return time after time. James likes to spend his rare time away from the garage enjoying a social drink, a private drink or a family drink and just spending quality time with his much loved dog, Brian.

Glen - 'Herby'

Workshop Foreman

Apart from a long list of qualifications Herby has forty years of experience as head tech and foreman and still loves being a mechanic. He enjoys seeing customers and if he can't fix it - no-one can! Herby has many talents and hobbies, he enjoys socialising with a wide circle of friends, he loves to shoot and enjoyed a previous life as a Diving Instructor.

Adrian

Mechanic/Technician

Adrian has thirty years of experience as a mechanic and is one of our longest serving members of staff - having been at Elm Tree for twenty five years. Adrian specialises in Land Rover and 4x4 vehicles and looks forward to pay day. Adrian likes spending time with his family and is quite partial to a trip to Peppa Pig World.

Roger

Recovery / Tyre Fitter / Workshop Assistant

Roger basically does anything that he is asked to do. He does enjoy his job but loves Ultra Running and Canoeing. Roger loves it all.

Dave

Accounts & Compliance

As well as the accounts side, Dave is also the 'go to' person for all transport questions. Dave was too busy to pose for a photograph.

Neil

Maintenance/Transport

Neil also looks after Mark's farm - you name it Neil can do it! We do think he is beginning to prefer cows to people.

Nigel

Sales & Media

Nigel joined us mostly to take the photographs and help poor old James out .. we're hoping you will notice the difference. He's been a friend of Mark's for almost 40 years - this job is a reward for that terrible bad luck and after 30 years in the police force it's time he started doing some work!

Kevin

Body Shop

Kevin works for all your body shop needs - he and Herby go back many years! If he is not spending quality time with his Grandchild you will find him in his man cave brewing beer which is, from experience, rather good.

Becky

Front Desk

Becky is always happy and extremely organised (bordering OCD) Becky previously worked in farming, primarily weaning calves. It's often meant 4am starts so she is one person who won't complain about 8am starts here.

Becky and her partner are renovating their home with Becky's OCD you have to feel for Tom. It must be okay as they're getting married -in Vegas! It's now or never.

Ellis & James

Car Preparation

Both the boys help in the valeting Bay part time

JAMES (right) Is also doing a mechanical apprenticeship. James enjoys trying to be funny, but it's obvious he is not very far through that particular apprenticeship. James is a hard worker, and we enjoy having him around.

ELLIS is still studying. He enjoys valeting, even at home, so other than the fact that he has to work with James, Our job is ideal for him.
